KIRKUS REVIEW

A second Radford Academy story (remember Pass That Puck?) and a swell boarding school-plus- baseball-plus personality issues story. While many of the same characters appear, the central figure is new,- Specs a tall, lonely boy, tagged a sissy because of his proficiency at the piano, who takes over the pitcher's job in an emergency, and proves himself with his fellows. A ticklish subject- exceedingly well handled in a book that gains stature because of the value of presenting the case for the boy who does not conform. First rate reading.
