A series of occupational and professional profiles which appeared originally in the Saturday Evening Pst, these are case histories of particular people in particular jobs all over the country, their qualifications and responsibilities, liabilities and compensations. There's a department store buyer; a railroader; a state cop; a postman; a construction engineer; a merchant marine officer; a radio emcee; a movie house manager; a fireman, a tree man; a reporter; a drive in operator; a city manager's assistant; etc. etc. Most of these men have gotten to the top and the returns are indicated, and they represent success but not easy success- stories. The vocational value is slight; the market a little vague, though the treatment is animated.
