KIRKUS REVIEW

Ex-newspaperman turned detective, Marty Cockren, gets the job of keeping a recent widow alive for a month so that she can fill the requirements of her dead husband's will and thereby claim his fortune. Cockren is driven to rapid fire invention to keep her out of the hands of those who would kill her, manages to hide her, disguise her and eventually win her the inheritance. Fast to blurred procedure.
