YOU AND YOUR HAND by Rita Van Alen

YOU AND YOUR HAND

By

Publisher: Greystone

This is a ""how to do it book"". There's at the start, a good deal of philosophizing about the meaning of hands, but in the main, the author takes a step at a time, in order that the reader can apply her theories, and put them into practice. She discusses the seven basic types- what the mounds mean- fingers, their shape, proportions, flexibility, the proportions of the hand, the lines, the shadows of the palm. Her points are often illustrated from the hands of someone famous, for the most part familiar personalities today. So many factors enter into this study, that this book accepts it as more than a hobby, and demands- of the reader- close attention and application. The final section shows how to make charts for yourself.
