A story of the New York stage, and of a girl of sixteen from a town in Maine who met a playwright, was fired with ambition to be an actress, and, with his love and help, made good, but not before both her love and her ambitions had met with obstacles which turned her from the path. Rita Weiman is herself a playwright and the background of the story rings true. The story, though primarily meat for rental library fans, is entertaining reading throughout.
