THE NUB by Robb White

It's a story about kidnapping -- but it is also a story of modern piracy, and adventure loving youngsters, especially those who like boats and the sea, will find it entirely to their liking. ""The Nub"" is the nickname for a nine year old boy, and his determination to ""show"" his older brothers the stuff of which he is made, results in his being inadvertently ""shanghaiied"" --and having to prove to himself that he was of man's estate. Good yarn, though highly improbable. The seamanship reads like authentic stuff.
