SPORTS CARS

Although the adult subject is presented in a format too childish for this age group (large print with big spaces between the lines), it is a clear and logical explanation of sports cars--mechanisms, uses, and pleasures. Comparisons between the sports car and the racing car, and between the sports car and the family car straighten out some misconceptions about the colorful vehicles. Various makes of cars are distinguished, and races and rallies are photographed and explained. Boys will doubtless appreciate the information as well as the many black and white photographs and diagrams which complement the material.
