DON'T EVER WISH FOR A 7-FOOT BEAR

Instead of scary monsters, picture book children seem of late to be increasingly plagued with rude, grabby, untidy beasts who refuse to go away. And that's what Harold gets one snowy day when he idly wishes for a seven-foot bear, thereby inheriting the pest from a little girl who had made the same mistake seven months previously. Harold finally gets rid of the bear by phoning an understocked zoo and getting them to wish for a seven-foot bear, but those hereby forewarned need not get stuck with the boor in the first place.
