DEATH TAKES A SABBATICAL

Poor benighted Mr. Halsey, drowsing on that London subway not even noticing that dead, dead drunk until it was pointed out to him by a stranger. Innocent Mr. Halsey, reporting the incident to the police. Put upon Mr. Halsey, disturbed by intruders, suspected by the police, kidnapped, beaten, abused...and all because he was so honest. A light, pseudo-gothic snow job...just right as a midnight amuser.
