MODERN SKIING by Robert Bourdon

MODERN SKIING

Sound instructions, well supplied with photographs, but marred by a stilted mode of expression that makes the learning of skiing a little boring to read about. Divided into three sections learning, equipment and improving- here are the essentials of all skiing movements from the snowplow to the slalom, plus how to buy and care for your gear, explained carefully enough to minimize the confusion that can come from opposing schools. A good if dull practice supplement for the skier who thinks about his twists and turns.
