KIRKUS REVIEW

Lost in the woods, Trudy and Vi are offered hospitality by a group of animal forest dwellers but find a nest, a hole, a den and a lodge unthinkable places to live. ""What a funny place to live"", whispers Trudy to her brother, but the joke is really on Trudy herself. ""What a funny place to live"" chorus the animals as they view the big frame house to which they finally escort the pair. Simplified nature information for those not ready for Selsam's mature approach.
