FREE SOCIETY AND MORAL CRISIS

Here is a monumental book of great wisdom which does not hesitate to study the moral basis of the present free-world crisis sociologically. Dr. Angell, professor of sociology at the University of Michigan, is not writing a ""religious"" book in the usual sense of the word, but his central concern with moral values as of primary importance to the student of human society is a refreshing departure from the all-too-common embarrassment, and even hostility which social scientists seem to feel is their proper attitude toward the ""non-scientific"" systems of moral values which the great religious traditions of mankind uphold.
