A ond spoof of the folkways of the inhabitants, particularly the ladies, of the heights gets very little mileage but proffers some pleasant badinage that will be particularly appreciated by insiders. George Johnson courts Amy Bishop on the New York, New Haven and Hartford, whereupon she carries him off to Brooklyn Heights and settles down to a member of the international order of wives, mothers and mistresses of houses. Her for civic action materializes in her laboring for Arbor and Trellis under the rocklike hand of Mrs. Fifield Stone, and finds its nemesis in the Tomorrow House her enterprising neighbor, who is banking on nuisance value for his property, constructs at her oorstep. But it is another equally enterprising woman, Miss Pibermann, who moves in on Mr. Klugman and saves the face of Willow Street...The tennis and yacht clubbers of the community will enjoy the family resemblance.
