THE HAPPY MAN by Robert Easton

THE HAPPY MAN

By

Publisher: Viking

Episodes of the old west, yarning with an authentic -- almost non-fictional feel -- as one man tells in the rough vernacular of the cattlemen of a one-time great ranch and the men who worked it. There is Uncle Billy, old Arkansawyer who got religion; Duke, ornery, belligerent; Dynamite who has troubles with his women and his wife; tales of the bunkhouse, saloon, trail, of women --cattle and flood. Well told, but limited in appeal.
