Equine enthusiasts, young and old, will be pleased by this genial tale about a one-man horse who became an unbeatable, unrideable, world's champion bronc at rodeos, and his erstwhile master, Sandy, Canadian rancher and champion bronc-buster. Horse and master drift apart, Sandy losing his grip on life, until a meeting of the champion horse and champion bronc buster in Madison Square Garden brings a happy ending. The scenes of ranch life on the Alberta plains, the excitement as well as the shoddiness of rodeo life, and a slight romance between hoofbeats, will prove diverting to arm-chair Hopalongs and horse fans.
