YOUR TURN, DOCTOR

A doctor's waiting room distraction, wherein the doctor tells little Gloria ""You're making a big fuss about nothing,"" because she is fussing on the examining table before the examination begins--whereupon she fantasizes herself in the doctor's role, with him as the unwilling patient. Although the sight of the paunchy, mustached doctor kicking and fleeing in his undershorts is never as funny as Robison tries hard to make it, Gloria's doctor-like comments are more amusing. And the scene does offer a chance to run through the actual procedures of a routine examination (as administered here by Gloria), while portraying a patient's resistance as indeed ""a big fuss about nothing""--and a ridiculous one at that. It's worth a try as the occasion suggests.
