SHE LOVES ME, SHE LOVES ME NOT

A miniature dramatization of a game originally devised by Cupid and now adapted by Sendak to enthrall the picture book set, an ideal group for the necessary glowing and giggling until the inevitable happy ending. Though nothing more than a series of pictures of a little girl and boy in costume, each pulling the fateful petals of the daisy and finally deciding to dispose of the last flower when the future turns in their favor, this is a charming addition to the classic Sendak repertoire. Three color pictures, all ""vampant"" with gaiety, create a lovely little present to be tucked inside a Valentine.
