IDENTIFIED FLYING SAUCERS

Operating on the thesis that Flying Saucers are alien space vehicles, Mr. Loftin chooses to illustrate his point with some of the more sensational encounters that read like the headlines from Saucer Scoop: ""The Photographer from Mars,"" ""Child Burned in New Mexico."" And who could fail to pause over the tale of one Boas, a farmer who was forced aboard a ship and seduced not once but twice by a little blonde with no lips. One must admire his ability to function under pressure. Such doubtful incidents negate the positive points of the book which include a chronology of sightings through the years, a 1965 statistical sheet ('65 was a UFOlogist's dream year), the details of the Project Blue Book program and photographs. But the ""Interplanetary Intelligence Report"" is enough to give the Air Force understandable ""UFObia.
