There is nothing about this book on Indian anthropology (past and present) to indicate that it was written for young people rather than a completely adult audience. The organization and style are reminiscent of college texts. The material is a cumulation of small details, and an expansion of Dr. Myron's dissertation interest in Indian archaeology. The short bibliography is composed of adult titles. Appended is a chronological chart of North American and world events from 50,000 B.C. through the early 1960's, concentrated to fill a two page spread.
