KIRKUS REVIEW

Another contribution to the record of war achievements on the part of operations distinctively of World War II. This covers the history of the Civili Petrol, launched in 1942 with two Atlantic Coast bases, and expanding to 21 east wing units in every state, Mexican border patrol, etc. They because ultimate integral part of the army, with their own cadet corps. They handled prob mercy missions, air raid testing, target hauling, etc. While primarily of interest to those who were part of it, the inclusion of numerous exploits, adventures, makes it good reading for air-minded market.
