KIRKUS REVIEW

Trouble finds Tim Lanigan, a merchant seaman with chief mate's papers, when he switches his plane space at a profit, for in New York City he is clobbered as the man with whom he had traded seats. But he parlays $10.00 into $3,000, hunts a girl's vanished brother, untangles an extortion plot and lowers the boom on a criminal ring. Quite a few dents in this ironclad gent, but a salty, nautical swagger to the yarn.
