KIRKUS REVIEW

Without the poetic subtlety of philosophy of Frost, Coffin nevertheless ranks next to him as poet-laureate of New England. His verse is simple and unaffected, his ardour for Maine deep and warm. This should have a good sale, regional as well as among 'middle-brow' poetry lovers.
