THE ADVENTUROUS MOTH

Repelled by ""bad perfume"" in the closet and burned by the mesmerizing flame of a candle, a little moth decamps in search of more hospitable surroundings; he nibbles at the fur of a sleeping lion who awakes, feels a draft on his bare spot, and wonders if he's getting bald. When the moth confesses, the lion leads him to a cache of old lion hunters' hats and the moth settles in for a long feed. Barbed-wire sketches, ragged whimsy.
