TRY THESE INDOORS

As a book for indoor gardeners, this is being reported out of its place, for it is patently a winter book, companion volume to Grow Them Indoors, and is a handbook for the experimenter who would try unusual house plants. Includes plants of the Amaryllis, A, Lily and Iris families, a miscellany of exotic plants, herbs, ""magic wands"" (branches cut from flowering shrubs in late winter). There is an excellent chapter on potting, lighting, feeding, watering, ventilation, etc.
