A Cork Robin Mystery has a few elements of bewilderment but is a fairly distasteful dossier of a down and out prostitute who happens to spark the train of circumstances which tumble a well-meaning newspaper sports reporter from success to failure. It's a disjointed and pretty meretricious story with a scrappy handling.
