This is a companion volume to the author's What Colonel Glenn Did All Day. A good bit of the information here is carried by the photographs, diagrams and drawings that explain in elementary detail the technical planning and the purpose of Project Apollo. The title is perhaps misleading depending on how you read it. What the moon astronauts will do for one day after landing is covered in two pages--collect samples, make tests, eat and sleep. The book is more concerned in how they'll get there and how they'll get back and although the print could afford to be bigger, this is an adequate, well-illustrated account of the space project for this age group.
