KIRKUS REVIEW

Lead mining in the asteroid belt between Jupiter and Mars and the claim jumpers who try to gum up the works are the elements in young Martian Peter Clay's life. The compounds are the main claim jumper's perverted ambitions to establish a united universe by getting control of things all by himself first. Romance with a miner's daughter in distress turns out even better when Peter finds she can play the oboe and add to his string trio. Future fun.
