SHAKE THIS TOWN

Petey, the Catanzaro kid, comes out of the army and back to his home town, a little Italy in Jersey, determined not to return to the ring and to find the murderer of his father ( a death dismissed by the police as accidental). Other pressures as well as his desire for proof and dream of revenge force him back into the fight game under The Carp who has the town in a bind- from the shoeshine boys to the men on the force. Carp's girl teaches him the source of the great man's great humiliation (his impotence) and Petey not only makes it public- but reenforces his reprisal with his fists.... For men only, a monochrome-tense, tightlipped and unshaven.
