'Peebles, we have visitors. Let down the drawbridge.' 'But, my lady, it's two monsters.' 'Well, Peebles dear, show them in!'"" Such is the dialogue that transpires when a mammoth and a dinosaur decide to move into a run-down Scottish castle. Later the castle, complete with contents and residents, is transported to California by rich American Mr. Goodbody (as pictured, a vulgar Hollywood type with flashy sportshirt and cigar), and Mammoth and Dinosaur, who romp their way through the large, casual party Mr. G. throws on their arrival, live contentedly on by the sea. The Wilds evidently count on the anachronisms alone to carry this off, but it takes more than the juxtaposition of kilts, cacti and wall-to-wall pets to make Dunmousie castle a home worth looking in on.
