ENCOUNTER WITH GOD

There is little doubt that students of theology will be pleased to have this on aspects of modern theology rescued from the limbo of library . But the limitation of interest to only those professionally involved which is the with Thought, the distinguished intellectual quarterly from which these articles were selected, will undoubtedly apply to this anthology, too. Perhaps however, the growing interest of Catholics in theology will prompt a few more to delve into this on key topics and as a result learn more of the ""fresh breeze"" which is sweeping through the ancient hails of theology as the author describes new movements, and approaches. The contributors are distinguished: John Courtney Murray, Herbert Musurillo, S.J., Francis J. McCall, S.J., to mention but a few. The subjects include such varied topics as the concept of miracles, Mary, the Sacraments and symbolism. Encounter With God is a firm step of developing a theological culture in America.
