KIRKUS REVIEW

A light over-all of the players and the game pokes good-humored fun at all fancies and foibles connected with them. The moaners and groaners, golf widows, clothes, caddies, women opponents, hard luck, betting, the weather, golf courses and clubs, balls and equipment, the locker room and the 19th hole, sweepstakes play, etc. -- all are taken for a speedy ride. A few facts and statistics wander in but do not restrain the general levity which should appeal to the large brotherhood of greens and tee-men.
