The Orient Express in its very name conveys a sense of magic. And for small Peter who lived near enough to watch it go by, the supreme wish was that it would stop. And one day it did- and Peter made friends with a little Oriental princess of his own age when the passengers got out to stretch their legs. He showed her his frog- and she showed him her magic jewel with a special power over all animals.
