SALTWATER SUMMER by Roderick L. Haig-Brown

SALTWATER SUMMER

By

Pub Date: Aug. 18th, 1948
Publisher: Morrow

Lots of fishing and sea talk, for boys whose interests lie along these lines- and Haig-Brown's name is the seal of authority on matters of this sort. A solid story- though lacking the spark and pace one might like- of a boy who spends a summer learning that he can't do everything equally well, though he manages to do a good job of fishing in waters off Canada, and to learn a lot about boats and men.
