PETUNIA'S CHRISTMAS

A happy farm tale of the aversion of a roasting with big, colorful spread drawings by the author to goose up the humor. Petunia, a goose, falls in love with a gander, Charlie, who lives on a neighboring farm. Charlie is being fattened for the yule kill. To aid, Petunia paints herself up to try to scare Charlie's owners, begs as a Santa Claus, makes wreaths to sell so she can buy Charlie at 75¢ to the pound. They are wed at a gay barn party and you too, will have smiled often before the end of the story.
