MAIN LINE KILL

By

Pub Date: Sept. 20th, 1968
Publisher: Walker

A rudimentary item which takes place in Birmingham, England, where a copper is a ""busy"" but a bloke is still a bloke. The murder on a train (main line) leads to a drug scene (get it?) since a research firm has been able to extract an addictive drug from a super-marketable soap product. . . . A hand count of a half page will show the word grimy three times, along with one grubby, and the book will do little to controvert this impression.
