An exuberant examination of the personality breakdown of our time which through pointless parables, primitive (in line) pictures and complete nonsensequiturs achieves some funny moments. If the technique is Thurber's, the mood- which is far noisier- is not, as Price rides roughly over such issues as our contemporary copelessness- and his antidote- avoidism; some strange characters (mostly blood relatives) and their compulsions; psychoanalysis and the Schwine-Kitzenger Personality Test; men, and girls avoiding men, child care, advertising, etc. A romp, which shakes the last giggle out of some material which ranges from the rudimentary to the ridiculous, and will appeal to men rather than women.
