FORWARD WITH SCIENCE

With no pandering to easy popularization, this is a study of the advances of science, largely in the field of physics, which explains fully the new theories, new results, in fairly technical terms. Although clear and explicit, it does predicate an understanding of higher science. Revolutionary discovery concerning the nature of matter, the new particles, divisibility of atoms; the electron microscope, radioactivity, thermodynamics, spectroscope, transmutation of matter and harnessing of atomic energy, the Quantum Theory and Einstein's Relativity, and new weapons of warfare, Rusk recognizes the threat to humanity in misapplication of these findings.
