KIRKUS REVIEW

In this text, based on Yoga, hypnotic theory, and parapsychology, the author not only sets forth theories on the control of organic ills through mental concentration out outlines a series of exercises designed to strengthen mental stamina. Intended as a supplement to medical care, the text indicates dietary regimes, breathing and relaxing exercises, and disciplines designed to give the subject firm roots in the context of human development. A point of view which appears to have considerable validity, it is expressed here convincingly by the author of The Power of the Mind. And for those with ime and initiative, a program which might, upon faithful perseverance, prove physically and mentally beneficial. Particularly recommended for devotees of health mystiques, soterica, and self improvement.
