NOSTRADAMUS SPEAKS

Another book about the 16th century seer which differs from the Scribner book (Nostradamus Deadly Parallel -- P. 458) in being a general analysis of the prophecies as they relate to modern times, where that book is a comparison of the passages relating to Napoleon and those relating to Hitler. This book covers a wider field, including a biographical sketch of Nostradamus, a brief history of the growth of the saga, an analysis of the difficulties confronting an interpretor, and a reinterpretation of the passages translated in light of historical events. Quatrain by quatrain --with conflicting commentary in some cases, and fresh interpretation. I found the clue method analysis of the Scribner book more fascinating reading than this -- but the two dovetail very neatly, for those interested in the prophecies.
