KIRKUS REVIEW

Brothers Wally and Marvin plot to win the frog-jumping contest by tricking brothers Ronny and Ralph--and first pulling a fast one on gullible Harriet. Ronny and Ralph discover what's up, and plot to outwit Wally and Marvin by first duping Harriet too. The upshot is that Harriet wins the contest--with some justice, true, but no logic. It's all too complicated to explain--and with nothing going for it but complication, not worth the trouble to follow. (Easy-reader in format, though not so designated.)
