ENT TO THE WOODS

Mr. Austing began collecting owls and hawks in his boyhood and soon turned to bird photography, both out of doors and in his studio. He writes with engaging enthusiasm of his collecting techniques which combine ingenuity, agility and incredible patience. As nature warden of an Ohio park, he has had ample opportunity to study both wild and semi-tame birds and animals. His relationship with wildlife and his remarks about conservation are warm-hearted and sensible.
