Definitely superior to her earlier books (Seventeen Class Ring etc.) in the penetration of the emotional problems of the upper teens. There's an unusual set-up here but one which will strike home in many a family where the problem may be sisters (not necessarily twins -- as in this case), one of whom is confident, assured, popular with the boys, the other one, insecure and reserved. The usual round of High School doings, extra-curricular for the most part; one questionable issue, which is left unsolved; and contest for the affections of one particular boy- these are the main ingredients that add up to a readable, if not profound, book which should widen the horizons of the Janet Lambert -- Betty Cavannah addicts.
