KIRKUS REVIEW

A book similar in appeal to The Minor Pleasures of Life (Harper), but her own. The earlier collection included world classics, bits from famous writers on their hobbies and interests. This is a book to dip into here and there -- brief essays on her own pleasures, -- reading, walking, believing, disbelieving and so on. Flippant, at times, poetical at others. A limited market.
