PICTURE RHYMES FROM FOREIGN LANDS

Source material that librarians and teachers will find valuable, and which may be used to advantage with children, but which I doubt whether children will particularly care to read to themselves. Drawings by Valery Carrick. There is a folk quality to many -- a Mother Goose feel to others. The nonsense verses are sure to be the most popular, and, rightly used, should work in well with material about children of other lands.
