KIRKUS REVIEW

National magazine writer Seavering tries to do a piece on James Everest, a famous writer-recluse and a legend at 44, whose privacy is assisted by his sister Helene and two bodyguards -- all apparently following the car crash which took the life of a friend. Apparently is the key word since nothing is what it seems in an imposture-conspiracy. This starts off with more flair than it ultimately compensates but it does provide an easy enough evening if your head's as tired as your feet.
