AMAZON ADVENTURES OF TWO CHILDREN

Joa and Tatu, who appeared in Two Children of Brasil have adventures in a trip up the Amason. The volume is full of unusual facts about one of the most important rivers in the world, its flora and fauna and quaint native towns. Interesting, full of customs and vocabulary new to most readers, but somehow more of a travelogue than a good story. Not up to its predecessor.
