A revised edition of The Bubbling Spring published last year (report P. 331 1949)-for young people. Although this story of a boy's formative years in the old West and how he learned the ways of the plains and mountains, may be too discursive for some, there is a tangy feel of the fascinating cowboy era that is sure to appeal.
