OUT- OF- SCHOOL VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE by Roswell Ward

OUT- OF- SCHOOL VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE

By

Publisher: Harper

A topic that needs to be aired- presented in pedestrian, dull form. With unemployment on the increase, and fear creeping in, there is particular need for extension of intelligent out of school vocational guidance, community-wide, city, town and rural. The facts of organization, of standards and goals, of the behind the scenes work, of interviewing, all this is here, but in plodding, uninspired form. Charts, aptitude tests, interest levels, the difficulties of individual adjustments, are stressed in the analysis of applicants. The importance of securing accurate occupational resources data is stressed. The market- with this sort of presentation- is largely colleges and already existing professional outlets.
