JOCK: The King's Pony by Rowland Johns

JOCK: The King's Pony

Here's a chance for a quick turnover on a sentimental appeal, in this story of the late King George's pets, particularly of his hunting pony, Jock, through whose eyes the rest are seen. Though the ""story"" is patently made to order, there is a certain tug at the heartstrings, which will give the book sales value to all who love animals. The Paul Brown illustrations are a definite and additional factor, as his books have become collectors' items. Plus sale in juvenile department.
