CHRISTMASTIME IN NEW YORK CITY

Augmenting the talented illustrator's Inside-Outside Book of New York City, here's an affectionate tour of holiday sights in the Big Apple--from the season's inauguration with Macy's Thanks-giving Parade to Times Square on New Year's Eve. The 12 subjects (Lord & Taylor's windows get two double-spreads) include Rockefeller Center, the New York Public Library, F.A.O. Schwarz, and the tree at the Metropolitan Museum. The brief captions are expanded on a final page. This should please anyone already familiar with these pleasures, and will perhaps interest others as well. Nice, but not essential.
